You can find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions below. 

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Cherry Creek Salon is located in the heart of Denver, CO at 5055 E Kentucky Ave, Ste B, Denver, CO 80246. You can find us at the corner of Cherry Creek S Dr and E Kentucky Ave. There are two entrances to the building. You can enter the building from either the parking lot entrance, or the Cherry Creek Trail entrance on E Kentucky Ave. Cherry Creek Salon is conveniently located next to the Cherry Creek Trailhead, RTD bus stops, Whole Foods Market, World Market, and multiple restaurants and shopping centers.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
STREET PARKING: Street parking is available on Cherry Creek S Dr and E Kentucky Ave.
PARKING LOT: You will find the parking lot for 5055 E Kentucky Ave on E Kentucky Ave. Our parking lot is the last lot before Cherry Creek S Dr. You are able to park in front of the signs for the Dentist Office.

ARE YOU ACCEPTING WALK-INS?
No, we do not accept walk-ins. Cherry Creek Salon welcomes clients by appointment only. 

HOW DO I GET ON YOUR WAITLIST?

If you would like to be added to our waiting list follow the steps below:

-Click "BOOK NOW" anywhere on our website.

-Check the box next to the service(s) that you would like to receive.

-Click "Continue".

-At the bottom of the page you will see "Don't see your preferred date or time? Join Waitlist"

-Click "Join Waitlist".

-Fill out all of the required fields, then, click "Join Waitlist".

-We will add your information to our waitlist and reach out to you directly if anything opens up within your desired time frame.

HOW CAN I CONTACT MY STYLIST?
Call or text (303) 900-5669, email info@cherrycreeksalon.com, or message us @cherrycreeksalon on Instagram for all salon service inquiries. Text (303) 900-5669 for a complimentary, virtual color consultation. We respond to all client communications during normal business hours. All of our appointments include a consultation.

HOW ARE YOUR APPOINTMENTS SET UP?
All of our appointments include a consultation, the service, and time for stylists to sanitize between appointments. The first ten minutes of the appointment are reserved for the consultation, the shampoo and/or the grace period. The last five minutes of the appointment are reserved for completing the transaction, while allowing the stylist time to properly sanitize between appointments. All of the time in between is reserved for your service.

WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
Cherry Creek Salon is open by appointment only.​ All of our scheduling is done online, where you can view our current availability as well as our detailed service menu.

HOW DO I MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO MY APPOINTMENT?
If you need to make adjustments to an appointment send a text to (303) 900-5669.

WHY DO YOU CHARGE A BOOKING FEE?

The booking fee is simply to reserve the appointment. The booking fee helps to cover overhead costs associated with the hour(s) reserved (e.g. rent, taxes, credit card processing fees, text and email communications, insurance coverage, supplies used to prepare for the appointment, products, etc.).

WHAT IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR?
Independent contractors provide goods or services according to the terms of a contract they have negotiated with an employer. Independent contractors are not employees. A salon may hire a stylist as an independent contractor. Cosmetologists and barbers who choose to work as independent contractors are responsible for paying for their own overhead costs associated with their business, making their own hours, and managing their own appointments. 

WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU CARRY?
All of the products offered at Cherry Creek Salon are Cruelty-Free, with Vegan-Friendly options. We carry Leaf + Flower, K18, Ethica Beauty, Highland Style Co., and Original & Mineral.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A COSMETOLOGIST AND A BARBER?

The biggest difference is that barbering is strictly focused on hair, whereas cosmetology focuses on hair, skin, nails and more. Barbers can provide straight razor shaves on the face, while Cosmetologists can perform skincare and waxing services. They are both trained in haircutting, hair coloring and proper sanitation.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIGHLIGHTS AND A BALAYAGE?

The biggest difference between a balayage and highlights is that a balayage is hand painted onto the hair in strategic patterns to create a natural, sunkissed look; whereas highlights are applied to hair that is sectioned using weaving and slicing techniques before being placed into foils to promote maximum lift, creating a much brighter tone throughout the hair. A Foilyage is a combination of a balayage and highlights.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLOW-DRY STYLING AND A BLOWOUT?
There's actually a big difference between blow-dry styling and blowing out your hair. Blow-dry styling is meant to dry the hair while reducing frizziness. The service would be considered a blow-dry if the stylist is using their fingers and a blowdry to rough dry the hair to reduce frizz. Blowing out the hair adds volume while styling, without using a flat iron or a curling iron. The service would be considered a blowout if the stylist is using a round brush or flat brush to create a detailed hairstyle.

WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE A SHAMPOO WITH MY STYLE?
Choose the Emerald Haircut, if you do not want a shampoo with your haircut. Clients must arrive with clean, dry hair.

WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT THE EUCALYPTUS INFUSED STEAM TOWEL?
All of our services include an optional eucalyptus infused steam towel for the face and/or neck.
All of our towels are infused with eucalyptus, and steam together in a steamer that is infused with eucalyptus. If you are allergic to eucalyptus, or wish to avoid applying the essential oil to your skin, you can choose to opt out of this application. The eucalyptus infused steam towel is an optional part of each service. The price remains the same with, or without the eucalyptus infused steam towel.

WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE A BLOWOUT WITH MY STYLE?
Choose the Emerald Haircut, if you do not want to receive a blow-dry style with your haircut. Clients must arrive with clean, dry hair. The blow-dry style is an optional part of each service. The price remains the same with, or without the blow-dry style. We encourage our guests to receive a blowout with every color appointment.

WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE A STRAIGHT RAZOR LINE-UP?
The straight razor line-up is an optional part of each service. The price remains the same with, or without the straight razor line-up. 
We encourage our guests to receive a straight razor line-up with every short haircut.

DO YOU DO KID'S HAIRCUTS?
Yes, we perform haircuts on young people (Ages 6-15). We do not perform haircuts on people who are 5 years old, or younger. Children (Ages 6-15) are only allowed in the salon if they are receiving a service and are accompanied by an adult. We do not allow unsupervised children. We do not offer special pricing for children. If the client is 16 years, or older, the guardian will be asked to wait in the lobby. DO YOU PERFORM WAXING SERVICES?
No. Cherry Creek Salon does not offer any waxing services.
